Systems Analyst – Integrated Solutions

Systems Analysts play a critical with our Integrated Solutions team. The primary role of this position is to implement our various software products in the customer’s OSS (Operational Support Systems) environment. The scope of duties will vary with each project and will be very broad. Our Systems Analysts engage in activities varying from Oracle database installation/administration, systems integration, and software development (Perl, C++, VB.NET). Skill/knowledge development in an always-active environment is a certainty. Our Systems Analysts also interact with customers on a regular basis, work closely with Account Managers, provide reports to upper management, and lead other technical resources in various software deployment efforts.

Experience working with Oracle (or other major RDBMS) and web-oriented application technologies (Perl scripting, Apache or IIS web servers, Java, etc.) is useful. Extensive experience with a variety of programming languages and SQL is highly desirable. Familiarity with GIS is a plus, but not mandatory. Preference will be given to those candidates with a four-year degree in a technical field. Occasional travel may be required as well (typically less than 10%).

Software Engineers

The Software Engineer (SE) is at the heart of our Phoenix, AZ development team. The primary role of the S/E is to design and implement object-oriented software modules based on requirements provided by our product management team. Our Phoenix team focuses on our spatial database and network engineering/GIS applications – primarily in a Win32 environment. Duties may also include maintenance of existing software, testing, and documentation. S/E’s also work closely with QA Engineers and analysts from other teams and locations.

Demonstrable expertise with one or more programming languages in an Object-Oriented environment is required (most of our applications are written in C++). Experience working with Oracle (or other major RDBMS) and expertise with SQL is highly desirable. Familiarity with CAD, telecommunications (or network-based utilities), and GIS is also useful. Preference will be given to those candidates with a four-year degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematical field. No travel is required for this position.
